About us

The purpose of the Holbook Historical Society is three-fold:

Gather and enjoy
To bring together those who have common interest in local history so that they may find enjoyment through their association and mutual encouragement in their particular interests in this field.
Help, teach, and value
To help the people of Holbrook, through a greater knowledge of local history and national history, to become more aware of the value of their American heritage and take pride in their community's part in its development.
Collect, preserve, and encourage
To encourage and engage in historical research; to collect and preserve historic data of the Town of Holbrook; to make antiquarian collections; and to promote interest in the preservation of historic records, documents, relics, and sites in the Town of Holbrook.
